Director of Destination Operations
Born in Seoul, Korea, Adam has spent his career connecting people with food and wine. Adam’s parents both came from rural farming communities in South Korea. Food has always been his family’s way of connecting to their culture on a daily basis.
Raised in California, Adam has worked in restaurants for more than 20 years. He moved to Napa Valley in 1995 and quickly moved to the forefront of the local wine & food world. He was wine steward at the highly regarded resort and restaurant, Auberge du Soleil, and then followed Chef Richard Reddington to Yountville where Adam was an opening assistant manager at REDD. Shortly thereafter, Adam graduated to become the general manager at FARM at Carneros Inn.
Adam was recruited to join the Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch team in the fall of 2009 and he has played a crucial role in establishing the restaurant’s team-based approach which provides high levels of service in a relaxing, casual environment. Managing all aspects of the Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch destination along with Director of Culinary Operations Stephen Barber, Adam has also led the development of the highly successful special events offerings on the property.
Adam met his future wife, Gretchen, while working at REDD and currently lives in Napa with two young children, Chloe and Charlie.
