A lifelong resident of St. Helena, Sarah is an accomplished horsewoman with many awards and trophies to her credit. A talented athlete, Sarah excelled in other sports as well. She has completed three Napa Valley Marathons and was an all-state member of St. Helena High School's record breaking state championship volleyball team. After completing her volleyball career in college, Sarah has continued to serve as a volleyball coach.
Following college Sarah hired on at a working ranch in Montana where she had direct responsibility for almost 200 horses. Sarah's ranch experience gave her a chance to become a knowledgeable "cattle puncher," too. As a result, Sarah is a highly skilled hand during our spring and fall cattle roundups. Today Sarah competes in cutting horse competitions throughout the northern California region and she qualified this year for the AQHA World Show in Oklahoma.
Sarah and owner, Ted Hall, are now gaining new skills as they learn to work the ranch's draft team, a matched pair of Amish-trained Haflingers, named Bill and Bob.
