Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch showcases the seasonal, ingredient-driven American farmhouse cooking of executive chef Stephen Barber.
Housed in a former nursery barn, our 110-seat restaurant is a casual, social culinary hub revolving around a central open kitchen with booth and central seating, community dining, and a full bar.
We feature an authentic farm-to-table menu highlighting local, sustainable and organic ingredients at their peak freshness.
The ingredients in the Farmstead kitchen are foraged from local sources and feature Long Meadow Ranch's all natural grass-fed beef, organic and sustainably produced eggs, fruits, vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and honey.
Possessing a substantial background in Southern cooking styles, Stephen emphasizes a wood-burning element for select dishes, including wood roasted grass fed marrow bones with beet and parsley salad; wood grilled Pacific Cod with house made sausage, clams and potatoes; and brick-roasted Petaluma chicken with flageolet beans, greens and lemon.
Stephen’s kitchen at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch is also outfitted with a plancha, a cast-iron grill ideal for searing Long Meadow Ranch’s healthy, tender, and flavorful grass-fed Highland beef.

Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch’s wine program features Long Meadow Ranch’s elegant and balanced wines, as well as other domestic and international wines selected by Chris Hall to complement the restaurant’s American farmhouse cooking
The appealing wine list is attractively priced over producers’ wholesale prices. Similarly, there is no corkage fee at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. Instead, a $2-per-bottle fee is collected as a donation to a featured local community-building not-for-profit organization each month.
Guided by our family’s sustainable philosophy, discarded redwood framing from the property’s historic residence is used as cladding for the restaurant’s bar front. Tree stumps from the site were refashioned as side tables. Stones from the original foundation form the outdoor fireplace, which is a replica of a historic forge.
The rough, granite material of the restaurant's bar top evokes the massive granite wheels of Long Meadow Ranch's olive oil mill. Salvaged hay hooks and poultry feeders were transformed into eye-catching light fixtures.
Outdoors in season, guests can enjoy a meal among the espalier apple trees, drinks at the bar, or relax with friends and family by the cozy wood-fired authentic forge. Regardless of season, guests can always enjoy our casual bar menu.
Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM we offer a "Growers' Happy Hour" with specially-priced cocktails, beer, and wine and a tasty special bar menu. Come join our local grape growers, vintners, and farmers as they wind down after a day of hard work in the Napa Valley.
We also offer Weekly Traditions featuring special friendly, casual menus on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nghts and on Sunday for brunch.
Monday nights are Family Nights with a specially priced two-course menu. Bring the kids and order from the every day kid's menu.
Every Tuesday evening we have fun-loving country menus, including a Chicken Fried Steak (CFS) Night and Fried Chicken Night. These special menus are regularly scheduled on the first through fourth Tuesdays, respectively. When a month has fifth Tuesday, we create a special "Leap Tuesday" menu (most recently a hickory bacon grass-fed beef cheeseburger).
Every Wednesday night, Farmstead celebrates the California Creole cooking, featuring the best local California ingredients. Look for classic creole favorites like jumbalaya, popcorn shrimp, pecan-crusted catfish, crispy boudin, grits with LMR beef grillades and gumbo.
On Sundays we feature a brunch menu from 11 AM to 3 PM, which offers bacon bloody marys, blood orange mimosas, LMR grass-fed beef hash, LMR eggs benedict, and down home weekly specials like housemade sausage, biscuits and gravy.
The regular menu is available everyday.
Indoor and outdoor seating available. Walk-ins are welcome.
