As the oldest Heritage breed, Highland cattle retain their inherent genetic capability to produce a healthy product from a natural diet of grasses and forage. Not surprisingly, grass-fed Highland beef is high in Omega-3 and Beta Carotene.
At Long Meadow Ranch, our cattle are finished on a diet of only grass and the finest hay. No growth hormones or artificial supplements are administered. As a result, our beef has the distinctively rich flavors only a truly natural product can provide.
