Long Meadow Ranch Winery & Farmstead |
A local gathering place and Napa Valley destination, the multi-use location is anchored by our restaurant, Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch, and Long Meadow Ranch Winery’s tasting room in the Logan-Ives House as well as wine flavor and vegetable gardens, and a seasonal farm stand.
This exciting destination offers an array of experiences for lovers of local food and wines, including fresh farm-to-table dining, wine and olive oil tasting, and engaging educational experiences that underscore Long Meadow Ranch’s time-honored motto of “Excellence through Responsible Farming.”

Located on a two-and-a-half-acre site with an agricultural heritage dating from the 1870s, the entire property is solar powered and is maintained using the traditional, sustainable, and certified organic practices long employed by our family – full circle farming methods that rely on each part of the ranch contributing to the success of the whole.
Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch showcases the seasonal, ingredient-driven American farmhouse cooking of executive chef Stephen Barber, who has served as chef at award-winning restaurants including Mecca in San Francisco and Norman's in Miami.
Long Meadow Ranch’s world-class wines and extra virgin olive oils also receive star billing in the adjacent tasting room. Set in St. Helena’s historic Logan-Ives House, built in the 1870s and faithfully restored to its classic Gothic Revival farmhouse architecture, the tasting room is open daily to the public and includes two private rooms for intimate gatherings as well as a kitchen for preparing daily wine and food pairings. The building also houses Long Meadow Ranch Winery’s administrative offices.
The “farmscape” at Long Meadow Ranch Winery & Farmstead provides the setting for an array of engaging educational experiences that illuminate the direct path from the farm to the table – and to one’s home.
Natural grasses and fruit trees grow alongside a wine flavor garden redolent with melons, berries, herbs and other natural essences found in Sauvignon Blanc, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
Guests of the tasting room are welcome to take docent-led tours of the wine flavor and demonstration gardens and learn more about the heirloom tomatoes they just enjoyed with their meal, or the extraordinary flavors that reveal themselves in Long Meadow Ranch’s food-friendly wines.
For those craving a more extended experience, ranch adventures include a private backroad tour of the 650-acre Mayacamas Estate, nestled high above the Napa Valley in the Mayacamas Mountains.
Beginning June 22nd, FRIDAYS: 1 PM to 6 PM and SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS: 11 AM to 6 PM, we open our seasonal outdoor farmer's market, Farmer's Market at Long Meadow Ranch, where guests have the opportunity to purchase grass-fed beef, eggs, and heirloom fruits and vegetables onsite.
