2012 Chardonnay "Farmstead"
For LMR Corral Club members only.
The Carneros District is a transitional climate spanning the southern ends of both the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Due to its location at the mouth of the San Pablo Bay, the region offers warm days allowing for even ripeness while cool nights assist in the development of tannin and natural acidity.
2012 was a moderately warm vintage without excessive heat spikes, allowing a harvest of evenly ripened fruit. Yield was large, offering a rare combination of both quality and quantity. Notes of dry hay, lemon pith and cream. The full mouth feel is cleansed by bright natural acidity.
