LMR Cabernet Sauvignon
Long Meadow Ranch Sangiovese has often been called "California's Best Sangiovese."
Frankly, we have not tasted all of the Sangiovese wines from California, but we do know that this wine shows the true varietal character that we have found only in Italy. This wine expresses the essence of the great Sangiovese grape with its delicate nose, rich color, and seductively soft mouth feel.
We have paired this elegant Sangiovese with a first course of carpaccio made from Long Meadow Ranch Grass-fed Highland Beef. We also enjoy our Sangiovese paired with roasted chicken or quail as a main course. We have even served it with rhubarb and strawberry shortcake for dessert.
Don't miss the opportunity to try this exquisite, very-limited production wine (just 50 cases).

Winemaker Notes
“LMR Sangiovese is bright, youthful and alluring by virtue of its many-shades-of-red in the glass. An earthier version of this classic varietal, aromas of black cherry mingle with sandalwood, cedar and saddle leather. The palate is at once broad and focused by natural retained acidity. Sangiovese is naturally fresh and food-friendly. This vintage is no exception.” - Ashley Heisey
