February 1, 2007, Rutherford, CA - Fine food purveyor Long Meadow Ranch has been named Best Local Food Producer by the Best of Napa & Sonoma Valley publication. Not only was LMR named as the Upvalley honoree, LMR was the top overall vote getter in its category.

Best of Napa & Sonoma Valley is a publication created by KVON/KVYN stations and winecountry.com. Each year Napa & Sonoma local residents are surveyed to find out their favorite local businesses in wine country. Long Meadow Ranch is proud to be chosen as the "can’t miss" local food producer. LMR Rutherford Gardens, conveniently located on Highway 29, is your local one stop shop for our organically certified seasonal fruits and vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, fresh eggs, and grass-fed beef. Although the gardens are currently closed for the winter, our beef, eggs, wine and olive oil are still available. You can always call the office to place your order and we'll arrange for you to pick it up. The target opening date for our road side stand is March 31. We look forward to seeing you there!

Don't forget that we also have a stand at the St. Helena Farmer's Market in Crane Park. Starting May 4th, 2007 through the end of October you will find LMR at the market starting from 7:30am to noon.

Wine is food! At LMR we make our wines to compliment food, not over power it. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect match to a grass-fed rib eye steak, fresh vegetables, and leafy greens dressed with our Napa Valley Select olive oil .
