Position Description: |
Long Meadow Ranch is a diversified 650-acre organic farming operation in the western hills of the
Napa Valley above Rutherford, producing wine, olive oil, beef, and fruits & vegetables.. This position is for a full time Customer Service & Marketing Support Manager who works closely with the general public as well as the retail and wholesale sales teams using communications and packaging skills.

Communications
- Direct consumer contact for all customer service issues
- Consumer order entry & fulfillment (secondary)
- Direct to Consumer Sales
- Maintain online store outlet
- Direct mailings
- E-mail campaign development and follow up
- Print campaign design and follow up
- Retail collateral
- Recipes/beef cooking instructions
- Product signage
- Order forms
- Pricing signage
- Wine club signage
- Wholesale collateral
- Tasting notes
- Wine & oil Competitions
- Wine dinner planning and support
- General website
- Events
- Bios
- Press releases
- Press clippings
- Image library
- Press relations
- Samples (wine, oil, jerky, etc.)
- Press release drafts and final editing
- Collateral as needed

Professional Requirements: |
- College degree preferred; communications major a plus
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the wine industry
- Experience with wine packaging and label desing
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with QuickBooks, Photoshop & PageMaker
- Website (HTML) maintenance experience desireable
- Effective communication skills (oral and writen)
- High standards of ethics and integrity
