Our 2021 bursts from the glass with aromas of pear, just ripe pit fruits, dried white flowers and oyster shell. The sparkling wine is elegant and chalky, with a layered core of fruit, tangy acids and a taut, incisive profile. It is chiseled and has an incisive profile made of light fruit and citrus and light white floral touches and concluding with a long and electric finish.

The Rutherford Estate Cabernet Sauvignon presents a captivating bouquet of plum, fresh fig, and black cherry, accented by a subtle hint of cardamom seed. The palate unfolds with more red berries and lighter notes of cocoa bean and graphite, interwoven with soft oak and round, silky tannins that delicately linger at the finish. – Justin Carr
2023 E.J. CHURCH MERLOT,

TASTING NOTES
The small and mighty Mountain Estate Merlot block just behind the winery has become a team favorite in the cellar. The resulting EJ Church Merlot opens with aromas of blueberry, dark cherry, and touches of nutmeg and bay leaf. The lush mid-palate is filled with more cherry, plum and cola. A gently balanced wave of acidity, sweet light oak, and long soft tannins carries it to a persistent finish. This pairs deliciously with charcuterie and cheese! – Justin Carr
